Chris Conley of Saves the Day will once again be a part of the “Where’s The Band?” tour, which showcases solo acoustic performances by the frontmen of successful rock groups. The 2012 installment will also feature Anthony Raneri of Bayside, Matt Pryor of The Get Up Kids, Ace Enders of The Early November, and Evan Weiss of Into It. Over it. Saves the Day collaborated with director Steven Penta on Finding Daybreak, a mini documentary on the band's journey to Daybreak. Chris Conley says that the documentary, "gives our fans a glimpse of who we really are , why we make music, and why they are the reason we will never give up." Secret Empire had a halloween premiere of their debut video for "Alien (Burial)".Directed by Shawn Butcher. The track appears on the band's upcoming debut release, Storm Command, due out 2012.

Faces on Film and Bodega Girls Both Named as Nominees for the 2011 Boston Music Awards
The Boston Music Awards announced today their nominees for 2011, which include Mike Fiore (Faces on Film) and Bodega Girls. Mike Fiore of Faces on Film, has been nominated for Singer/Songwriter of the Year while Bodega Girls "School Night" got a nomination for Video of the Year. Also, nominated for Best Dance/DJ Night was Cool Ranch at Middlesex, Bodega Girls monthly dance party. You can find a complete list of nominees HERE as well as an opportunity to cast your votes! The Boston Music Awards will take place at The Liberty Hotel on Sunday, November 20th.

We are so sad to hear of Mikey Welsh's passing. We first met him as the new guy in Weezer and years later he was a member of The Kickovers, the first artist signed to the Fenway label. MGMT to perform at the Guggenheim November 11th
MGMT will be performing a one of a kind, site-specific musical piece at the Guggenheim Museum as part of the opening of the Maurizio Cattelan exhibit and retrospective which begins November 3. MGMT will be performing at the Private Gala Opening Benefit After-Party at the Museum on November 10 and will be performing at the public opening party also at the museum on November 11. MGMT's "Late Night Tales" Out Today
Coming off a stellar performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last week, MGMT have released a new compilation "Late Night Tales". The latest installment of the "Late Night" series features handpicked songs from MGMT that serve as some of the bands favorite tracks and inspiration. October 4th marks the release of the 25th edition of the Late Night Tales series, curated by MGMT. Faces on Film play w/ The Shins in Toronto, Boston, and New York
Faces on Film will support the Shins at three shows this weekend. They perform at the Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto, ON tomorrow; The Paradise Rock Club in Boston, MA on Saturday, 9/24; and The Bowery Ballroom in New York on 9/25.

Bodega Girls are taking Cool Ranch into the fall on 9/28 at Middlesex Lounge in Cambridge, MA with the very first performance from The Bodega Sluts. There will also be a live performance by special guests, TRABANTS, featuring Mikey French Fries from Mean Creek, followed by DJ Paul Foley.

Faces on Film to Open for The Shins in Toronto, Boston and New York
Faces on Film will be playing three shows with The Shins, starting in Toronto on Thursday, September 22nd at the Phoenix Concert Theater, continuing in Boston on Saturday, September 24th at the Paradise, and wrapping up in New York on Sunday, September 25th at the Bowery Ballroom.
