Sonic Youth's Lee Ranaldo Joins The Cribs Live in Montreal
At their Theatre Fairmont show in Montreal, The Cribs unleashed a special treat for fans. The band often projects a video of Lee Ranaldo, co-founder of Sonic Youth, to open their song "Be Safe". However, this performance was one-of-a-kind: Ranaldo joined them live onstage.

The Guardian has The Cribs recreate a Lionel Richie video
"We asked the punk trio to imitate the singer’s classic video and craft his face out of modelling clay. They got straight to work on their masterpiece"
What was planned to be a lunch/interview with the Guardian became a hilarious attempt to create a clay model of a soul icon. The band was enthusiastic as always in taking on the task!
