Faces on Film will play two Elite Lines release shows

Mike Fiore, the mastermind behind Faces on Film, announced the band will be playing two shows this March to support the release of his upcoming album, Elite Lines. The group will play a hometown show at TT the Bears in Boston on March 24. Saves The Day will hit the European festival circuit

The Cribs to release two new albums in 2014

Shortly after announcing the band was on hiatus, The Cribs revealed they will be releasing two new albums early this year. "There's one that's going to be really noisy and visceral and immediate, and one that's gonna be more pop," Gary Jarman, the band's bassist, told NME. There is no official release date for the albums, but Jarman said the group has been busily writing for the past month and expects the albums to drop early this year. Mission of Burma Announce Somerville Local First Benefit Concert

Mission of Burma will headline the first annual Somerville Local First benefit concert on Sunday, February 9, at the Regent Theatre in Arlington, MA. Peter Prescott's Minibeast and Bugs and Rats will kick off the night as openers. The show is Mission of Burma's first Boston performance in over a year and the group's only scheduled concert in the area. The show is all ages and tickets range from $22 to $27. Doors open at 7:00 pm.
