The next Fenway Recordings Sessions artist, Junip, (feat. Swedish singer-songwriter Jose Gonzalez), has made their new Rope an Summit EP available as a free download over on Junip.net.  All they ask for in return is your email. Junip plays Great Scott on Tuesday, June 8th as part of the Fenway Recordings Sessions.  Local band Forest Fires will open, and DJ Carbo will spin in between sets.

TONIGHT: MGMT on "The Late Show with David Letterman," play live set from Ed Sullivan Theater

MGMT will be performing tonight, on "The Late Show with David Letterman."  They'll also be playing a 45 minute set for "Live On Letterman," at 8PM EST, which will be streamed live and can be viewed here.  Be sure to tune in to see their performance from the historic Ed Sullivan Theater!

Mission of Burma news: Support added for London gig, venue change for May 26th

NYC's Endless Boogie have been confirmed to support Mission of Burma at their London gig on May 13th at Dingwalls.  Tickets available here. Also, note there is a VENUE CHANGE for Burma's May 26th date in Vigo, Spain.  The show is now at Festival Sinsal Oito - Sala Mondo.  Tickets available here.

MGMT adds Letterman and nine North American dates

MGMT will perform a "Live on Letterman" webcast concert from the Ed Sullivan Theater Tuesday, May 11, following the band's performance on the Late Show with David Letterman. MGMT has also announced nine new North American tour dates for this summer:

TONIGHT: The Fenway Recordings Sessions 100th Show w/ KATE NASH!!

Tonight, The Fenway Recordings Sessions will hit its landmark 100th show with Kate Nash! It's been an amazing 6 years, with incredible ongoing support and inspiration from our fantastic partners at Great Scott and Tea Party, and we could think of no better artist to help us celebrate this milestone than Kate Nash.  We want to offer a big thank you to her, and to all of the other artists who have and will continue to play these shows, and to the amazing audiences that have supported them through the years.

Saves The Day forced to cancel London, Groezrock appearances

Saves The Day has unfortunately had to cancel their scheduled April 22nd show with Sunny Day Real Estate at London's HMV Forum, as well as their scheduled appearance at Belgium's Groezrock festival, April 23.  The band's flights were canceled due to the Icelandic volcano eruption.
