Francis and the Lights has been confirmed to play 4 nights at the new Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas this December.  This residency, which takes place from Wednesday, December 22nd through Saturday, December 25th, is part of a series of shows and events that the new hotel and casino is planning to mark its grand opening this winter.  Be sure to check back here, and on the Cosmopolitan’s Facebook page, for more information on these shows as it becomes available.

MTV covers the story behind Francis and the Lights’ involvement on Drake’s stand-out track “Karaoke” off the rapper’s latest album Thank Me Later.

Francis comments on the collaboration stating, “He made it very personal, but making some very subtle changes and doing his thing on it, obviously, with the verses. He actually made it make sense in a way that didn’t make sense to me before.”

Recently, The New York Times reviewed Francis and the Lights’ live performance at S.O.B.’s in New York City!

Caricatured has a “bodily emphatic performer, maintaining a straight face through all sorts of herky-jerky maneuvers, communicating only deadly calm and seriousness in his eyes,” Francis has started generating buss and receiving the recognition his electronic chill, funk sound deserves.
