The Cribs are set to release In the Belly of the Brazen Bull on May 8th with Wichita Recordings. This will be the band’s fifth album following 2009’s UK Top Ten album, Ignore the Ignorant. The Cribs, returning to their three-piece status, recorded in New York with Dave Fridmann of Tarbox Road at the helm, in London’s storied Abbey Road, and in Chicago with Steve Albini. In April, The Cribs will kick off their North American Tour in Portland. After wrapping up in Boston, the band will head to the UK in May. Friday, January 20th, 2012The Static Jacks will return to the United Kingdom the second half of February for a thirteen-show tour, beginning with a Bristol show on the 15th. For the February 16th Brighton show, The Static Jacks will be joined by Grouplove. Other guest performances include Rams Pocket Radio Southampton (2.19) performance and three consecutive shows in Portsmouth (2.20), Coventry (2.21), and London (2.22). The Static Jacks’ Album “If You’re Young” to be Released March 5th in the UK; Band will tour the UK in February
Wednesday, January 11th, 2012The Static Jacks‘ debut album, If You’re Young, will be released in the UK on March 5th via Fearless Records. The album’s release will be preceded by a full UK tour, beginning February 15th and including dates with The Wombats and a stop at Brixton Academy.
Since its US release in August on Fearless Records, If You’re Young has received a 4/5 star review in Alternative Press and was chosen for the #12 spot on Newsday‘s Top Albums of 2011 list. And album track “Mercy, Hallelujah” was also given the #5 spot on Newsday‘s Top Songs of 2011.

Thursday, November 17th, 2011Chris Conley of Saves the Day will once again be a part of the “Where’s The Band?” tour, which showcases solo acoustic performances by the frontmen of successful rock groups. The 2012 installment will also feature Anthony Raneri of Bayside, Matt Pryor of The Get Up Kids, Ace Enders of The Early November, and Evan Weiss of Into It. Over it.
